Liz Hamilton
Principal Architect
One half of the founding partners of H+N, Principal Architect Liz Hamilton is a lifelong Conway resident and cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Architecture. Liz is a people person. She loves the opportunity to build a personal connection while turning a client’s vision into a reality. Despite 16 years in the industry, she still sees every experience as a learning opportunity- a mindset that she applies to her personal life as well.
Just as active at home, Liz and her husband Eric parent three children and are blessed to be tolerated by canine companions Tank and Copper. In between peewee sporting events and loads of laundry (her favorite pastimes if you ask her kids), Liz still makes time for reading and home improvement. She also loves an adventure, often finding herself planning family vacations while Ted Lasso plays in the background.
Joanna Nabholz
Principal Architect
A Conway native and founding partner of H+N, Joanna’s work displays both architectural expertise and a strong sense for community. She believes in getting to know her clients so that their spaces turn out not only functional, but meaningful. She works closely with contractors and engineers to ensure that every element of each project is crafted with care and precision. The exposé is her favorite part of finishing a job because it allows everybody involved to celebrate and appreciate the fine details of their work.
Joanna admits that her role as Principal Architect follows her everywhere, as she spends much of her free time on at-home construction projects. When the season is right, she’s probably outside, fishing or hunting with her dogs. Joanna is also a homemade jelly enthusiast, blessing the H+N team with personal batches when her jar runneth over.
Jamie Borg
Project Manager
With over 25 years of experience, Project Manager Jamie Borg believes that good design should speak for itself and that problem-solving should be guided by efficiency and reason. His design approach emphasizes project context, an understanding of human behavior, and attention to the surrounding environment. This allows his work to achieve both enduring functionality and a timeless aesthetic.
Outside of work, Jamie divides his time between renovating his family’s century-old home, playing tennis, and hiking with his family.
Addison Moy, ASID, NCIDQ
Interior Designer
Addison Moy, Interior Designer at H+N, brings fresh creativity and innovation to every project. Addison is NCIDQ-certified and has already made a mark in the industry, earning the 2024 ASID Commercial Ovation Best in Design award alongside Liz and project consultant Toni Wyre.
Addison’s approach to design is all about understanding the client. She focuses on their goals, needs, and personal aesthetic, weaving them into the most functional space within their budget. She designs spaces that bring people together, crafting inviting environments that highlight the subtleties of an organization’s personality. At home, Addison is an avid reader, a balcony gardener, and a loving mother to her cat, Brioche. A seasoned traveler, she always takes an opportunity to see somewhere new- whether that means taking in the New York City skyline or walking down the historic streets of Madrid.
Gil Newnum
Project Architect
Gil Newnum is a husband, a father, and a Hogs fan. Having worked as a draftsman, an estimator, and a project manager throughout his 30+ year career, Gil thrives on variety. He enjoys the process of adapting to each project- whether that means adapting to new building codes or learning a new program (yes, he actually enjoys the nuances of design software). Gil’s passion for innovation is ingrained in all his work at H+N and, more recently, has become essential in his pursuit of success at local BBQ competitions.
Beyond the technicalities of the industry, Gil appreciates the social aspect of his position. He likes learning about people’s lives and cultures- a curiosity evident in both his personal life and his work. Known to propose a hunting trip if the season is right, Gil is fascinated by fascinating people and is excited by the opportunity to collaborate with them.
Chrissy Mullenax
Office Manager
Chrissy Mullenax, Accounting & Office Manager at H+N, is essential to the firm's daily operations. With over 19 years of experience, she provides the firm with a diverse skill set and extensive industry knowledge. A multitask aficionado, Chrissy handles accounting and budgeting, firm policies, operational communications, processing permits, and ensuring all licenses and certifications are up to date. Her knack for organization keeps everything running smoothly, allowing her colleagues to focus on their projects without worrying about the details behind the scenes. Unsurprisingly, she enjoys checking off a list.
Chrissy wears just as many hats outside of the office. She’s an enthusiastic mom at her sons’ baseball games, a laid-back lake-goer in the summer months, and a hunter during deer season in South Arkansas- a hobby shared with her husband and their boys. Regularly reorganizing the house for fun, her drive for structure does not disappear when she’s off the clock.
